If possible, but in multiplayer it won't work, it's likely someone will develop it sooner than you. 20 rounds of golden age is extremely powerful.
It's already too late to visit Chichen Itza in Spain, but I managed to go to Machu Picchu instead.

Are there any remaining barbarians? You might leverage them to strengthen your army and win the support of nearby city-states.
Why play Germany? Their reward for 25 gold and the barbarian allies when you lose is among the top perks. They’re quite aggressive, or you can make them your sole military source after the first two so you can focus on buildings, workers, and upgrades. Either way, the Civ feels a bit weak without barbarians.
I struggle a lot when there are barbarians around; I usually fall behind most of the time and can’t play with them effectively.
