I’ve always enjoyed CoD until all cracked servers were taken down. After that I moved to League of Legends. Recently I discovered a BF3 multiplayer version and have been playing it for a few months now. I’m considering trying something new—should I go with BF4 or another Call of Duty title? I don’t like the sci-fi feel of AW or Black Ops 3, but BF4 feels too sci-fi as well. Its maps are more realistic and tactical, unlike CoD’s large open worlds. I prefer smaller maps where strategy matters more. What should I choose—CoD Ghosts, CoD Black Ops II, or BF4? Also, do any Steam players still play these games, and how many?

BF4 likely has the most active player base, with dedicated servers available. It’s also currently discounted.

Bf4 is my favorite online FPS and I keep playing it regularly. I appreciate the realistic physics for projectiles. There are many varied game modes and an active server that matches exactly what I want to play. I really enjoy the environments that can be destroyed, like dropping an 80-story building.

This game offers far more value than any other obvious money-focused title you might encounter.

EA previously offered Bf3 for PC as a giveaway, and recently all DLCs for Bf4 were released. If you paid close attention during that period, you could have played it legally. I have proof of this. Currently, my account only contains everything EA has given away, so I haven’t spent a single dollar. Spoiler: Yes, I also suggest trying "Waiting Simulator" with the new EA releases from 2016-2017. I’ve played it since they began offering giveaways in Origin in 2014. Here’s another photo of my last session when BF3 was available. The DLCs for Bf4 have official details at these links: [link1](http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...d-for-free), [link2](http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...gons-teeth), [link3](http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...attlefield), [link4](http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...attlefield), [link5](http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...attlefield). My photo and I highly recommend both BF3 and Bf4, especially the weapons sounds—your M1911 will sound almost identical. EDIT: See the added photos.

Obtain the origin access at a low cost and gain entry to over 20 titles, such as BF4 Premium.

I’d explore major buying platforms such as Spoiler G2A.com, but I’m unsure of the guidelines—I just placed a spoiler over the site.

Search for COD4 on PC by visiting gametracker.com and checking the player numbers. It’s the game with the highest activity.

I purchased BF4 at a 75% discount from Origin. However, I’m limited to playing 80% of the servers because I don’t have DLCS access.

Honestly, I mostly stick to non-DLC titles except for naval strike. The main maps are awesome either way. If you're in the NA area, we can chat about your origin sometime.
