Hello, I need to decide which version is best for me. The Standard edition doesn’t include mounts for horses or airplanes. The battlepacks might offer more features but aren’t clear on their compatibility either.

The usual setup works just as well. You’ll keep receiving battle packs and maintain full functionality.

It seems EA is mainly focused on extracting more revenue from the game. If they had truly launched paid exclusive vehicles and horses, the community would likely respond negatively, leading to lower sales. You'd probably miss out on only a handful of battlepacks—perhaps 5 to 10—and the weapon you mentioned would never be used.

You receive numerous advantages with Deluxe. It includes five battlepacks (all skins available), the Red Baron weapons pack (free P08 and plane skins), the Lawrence of Arabia pack (free SMLE Infantry with a special skin), and access to the Hellfighter weapons (free Trench Shotgun and unique skin M1911). You also get certain skins in Deluxe. Additionally, you gain early access to the first free DLC map a week before regular players. Consider this carefully since the Deluxe Edition costs $53 USD right now (I paid $80 for it!). It seems worthwhile. Regular BF1 is $40, so I’m not too keen on that either. The Regular Edition offers no restrictions—same game and features as Deluxe and Standard.

Origin offers a unique setup today. However, I’m curious about whether the standard version includes horses, airplanes, etc., since I’m not fond of paying extra for a red airplane. It’s just a color issue. Regarding exclusive weapons, what are they? Are they actually used regularly? I’d like to be sure before making my purchase.

they're just appearances. The deluxe version only gives you skins.

I bought the regular version, avoid thinking "limited releases" are just trying to charge extra.

You own the regular version and are comfortable riding horses, flying planes, and accessing battle packs. The standard edition suits you—save your budget for other options.

Sure, you're all set with vehicles and horses in that standard build! That special build is solid—definitely try it out while you can. I also avoid premium weapons since they don't stand up to the OP content you can unlock on your own (like the AEK from BF4).

I added those items to the list too. Everything from horses to airplanes is covered. I tweaked my post to reflect that. No limits here. The red airplane is just a bonus. You still receive the plane, but not in red with special markings. The exclusive weapons are merely skins for weapons you already own. The SMLE Lawrence of Arabia is essentially an SMLE III Infantry. The Red Baron P08 is simply a P08. The Hellfighter Trench Shotgun is just a standard Trench Shotgun. The Hellfighter 1911 is just the M1911 (your starter gun).
