I'm looking for a suitable motherboard, CPU, and RAM for my setup. I've already got the GPU, keyboard, mouse, etc., so I'm focusing on upgrading my system. Considering daily use for work and gaming, I need a reliable choice between AMD and Intel. What would you recommend?

You require a budget and should consider upgrading your GPU since it can't manage emails well. A minimum of a 3090 is recommended.

You might have installed it three years ago, but the processor is six years old, and its underlying technology is likely around eight or nine years old. What screen resolution are you using? Honestly, either should work fine. It's not that WoW is extremely demanding.

Sure, this Intel i9 9900K is a solid choice for you. It’s affordable at $350 and should keep up with future upgrades for years to come.

Thank you for your response. I'll note that one down. Can you assist with a mobile device? I'm leaning toward an Asus model. Good luck and enjoy your weekend. Stay safe from the fires in California.

No budget has been planned yet since my wife is purchasing a car tomorrow, freeing up all my spending for the next couple of months. I’m aiming to start building something by the time Xmas arrives. I’ve noted down the I9-9900 and the ROG mobo so I’ll have them ready when needed.

i said it once, i will say it again, the Ryzen 5 3600 or 3600X or even the 3600XT, are amazing processors when it come to price to performance, and the 2080 ti should not have any problem scaling with the 3600 or either of its refreshes. Now for the motherboard, if you are on a budget and want an Asus MoBbo, then go for the Asus B450 Prime A is the name i think, and if Asus is not the only option, then go for the Asrock B450 Steel Legend.
