I've only played a few AC games closely, but Far Cry offers a massive open-world map where you can really do anything—it feels similar to Skyrim with a focus on weapons. You have plenty of freedom to explore and try different activities. AC seems to be an open-world title too, though I’m not very familiar with it, so I can’t share a detailed opinion.
I wouldn't judge the visuals by relying on just one texture when the game only uses that one. I wish it would appear extremely detailed in that single model. Yet everyone says Far Cry is stunning. I missed a mission because I spent too much time just admiring things.
I concur, at times I'd linger for as long as a minute in Farcry 3 simply observing from the radio towers.
It seems you're asking if there are any side missions available. Let me clarify—are you referring to in-game objectives or optional tasks within the game?
AMD Omega updates have boosted my Unity performance by another 10-40%, taking it to a completely new level. The game runs much smoother now—Nvidia fans won't say enough. Someone else reported massive improvements too, and Farcry 4 is also really enjoyable (see the video at 5:40).
