I noticed a forum thread comparing motherboards on r/buildapc. For recording and editing, it depends: higher-tier MOSI audio offers better sound quality, while top-notch mics and headphones provide clearer audio capture. Consider both factors together for optimal results.

Additionally, you overlooked the audio interface, the AMP/DAC, and the ASIO support.

I'm not very experienced with those devices. Typically, I use my headphones and recording software for capturing audio. When I searched for information about them, I wasn't sure. What's the main difference between using a mic/headphones with an audio interface and connecting directly to the PC via USB or audio port?
