Hey guys, 3900X owners definitely have a good stock cooler enough to handle this thing. Installing the H100i wouldn’t be necessary unless I really want better performance. I’m not planning to overclock the CPU, so sticking with the stock cooler seems simpler for me. If the H100i gives me noticeably lower temps, I’d go for it.

You already have the H100i, why not take advantage of it? You'd definitely see faster boost clocks and cooler temperatures compared to the standard cooler. The regular cooler is fine, but your CPU will operate nearer to the original speeds.

You asked why you received an aio and didn’t grasp the situation. If it fails, the worst outcome would be extreme temperatures. The aio should last for a long time. Just use it. Edited July 10, 2020 by TofuHaroto
