If the clock speed matches, the 32GB CL30 performs better, while a 64GB version offers no real advantage in gaming.

Insufficient details make the information unclear. CAS latency needs a reference clock speed and we don’t know your CPU type or memory speed requirements. For gaming, extra RAM likely won’t matter much—only heavily modded titles count—and you should pick the faster option available.

Opt for the 32GB CL30 6000MHz setup without hesitation—it's the top pick among gamers, and I've seen it time and time again.

6000mhz specs are solid, but I’m considering the trade-offs. The extra RAM could help with virtualization, and I’m also running Cities: Skylines 2 and Flight Simulator. I need to check if upgrading to CL36 is worth it despite the higher cost.

The difference between CL 30 and CL 36 is almost insignificant, with only a slight variation in synthetic benchmark results.

Which CL36 model are we discussing? There are two popular versions at 6000MT/s: CL36-44-44 and CL36-36-36. The CL36-36-36 kits run a bit slower than CL30 but don’t have major compatibility problems, while CL36-44-44 is noticeably slower and has some odd issues. I’d still likely prefer the CL30 kits if possible.

If you don’t mainly play recent titles, I’d opt for 64GB since newer games often require significant memory.
