That's a solid point. If you're not focusing on heavy multitasking, a 32GB storage might still be sufficient depending on your needs.

I wouldn't agree with that. I haven't noticed any change, but I understand it's common to go above 16GB during gaming. It seems the game might adjust graphics settings based on the available RAM and the specific title. I've observed this with VRAM, where changing the graphics card within the same generation can affect usage even if VRAM isn't fully used. Also, with just three open Chrome tabs and Steam at 10.7GB, my advice would be to aim for 32GB if possible.

Usually the OS will cache more data if it has more RAM available, so you see higher RAM usage on higher RAM capacity. Sometimes it makes a performance difference, most times it doesn't (for games)

Using just one app at a time should work well with 16GB, but I’m not sure how it handles video editing.

Sure thing. I might purchase 32 gigabytes. I want to avoid complications with RAM later, especially if I need more for video editing. I don’t use multiple apps simultaneously, but I don’t open thousands of tabs in Chrome either. My typical setup includes my video editing program (15-20 tabs), Spotify, audio editing software, and Discord.
