I favor the professional edition mainly for its Group Policy Editor. It offers a lot of customization options. As someone else noted earlier, delaying updates is also appealing. To be honest, without gaming, I’d rely on Linux all the time.

I support postponing updates to avoid giving the 10 Home a chance to use this feature.

Unfortunately, due to Microsoft's questionable practices, your device is forced to undergo an update. This is one of the main reasons I upgraded to the Pro edition.

I switched to Pro to stop automatic updates. A few days later they dropped the anniversary edition, which turned that setting off. I was really upset.

The question is unclear. Could you provide more context or clarify what you're asking about the ***** and the date?

Yes, the 10 Pro version no longer includes that feature.

You can only postpone updates for significant new features, not for routine patches.

The creator update could offer a method to postpone updates for 35 days. It's unclear whether this applies to home devices, but I'm not concerned about the updates since they haven't caused any issues on my PC so far. I configured Windows Update notifications for scheduled restarts and picked a convenient time for use. I also enabled automatic updates when necessary.
