It actually does back the bios flashback feature. It handles 3950x well, even though it has 6 VRMs—similar to many iTX boards, which shouldn't be a problem. That’s not accurate. Most iTX boards offer better VMR options than mATX boards, usually around 6 versus 4. Ideally, a full ATX board would be the best choice. A 105w CPU is common, and people often say we’re still in the FX era with 220w processors needing 12 VRMs, but that’s not true anymore.

Since you don’t have a 2000 series CPU, I’d suggest looking for a motherboard with better support for modern processors. The Asus board’s BIOS isn’t great, so consider models that offer updated firmware and compatibility with newer chipsets.

I’ve heard that, how do you feel about it? Could a 3900x fit on this board?

The board handles up to 3950x, so 3900 works fine. I really like the build. With the memory I own, 3600mhz stable XMP is fine even though Zen+ Bios has limited speeds despite being packed with features. Performance boosts in OC modes were designed by Stilt, helping the PBO overclock effectively. I've tried budget and high-end RAM with four processors—including 200ge, 220ge Ryzen 1200, and 2700x. I've used four different memory configurations: two GSKILL sets in the sig and two lower-end Corsair LX models at 3000mhz. Compared to the B450M-A, the B450-I outperforms it in every aspect. I don’t use MSI or AsRock. I haven’t bought a Gigabyte but would consider it second only to Asus.
