Consider which tank you're most curious about. For Soviet models like IS-2, T54, IS-3, and American tanks such as M26E1, M46 Tiger, and T28, each offers unique gameplay experiences. Choose based on your preferred style or challenge you want to tackle.

It doesn't make sense to say the 88mm aren't causing any damage to Cold War tanks.

Could you clarify your choice of game? War Thunder might not be the best fit compared to World of Tanks or Armored Warfare, which offer more tailored experiences.

WoT lacks impressive visuals and many missing capabilities compared to War Thunder. As for Armored Warfare, it's hard to say what I think because I haven't tried it.

WoT and Warthunder are vastly different titles. AW is similar to WoT yet featuring contemporary tanks and unique features such as missiles, making a direct comparison difficult.

But... But... Warthunder is really disappointing. It's clear you can tell. Sure, WOT and AW aren't flawless, but at least they're making an effort. Most of my friends and I enjoy tanks—modern or old—so Warthunder feels awkward to play. These tanks are overpowered; a single shot can hurt everyone, they’re hard to see clearly, the maps are dull, and the physics feel sloppy. I’d skip this game altogether unless they make big changes... which they haven’t done.
