I need a compatible motherboard for your setup. Your CPU is I7-7700, which is a bit unusual for custom builds. Look for one supporting that chipset and offering both WiFi and Bluetooth under $120. The RX 580 GPU, Corsair PSU, Viper RAM, Seagate 1TB SSD, and WD Blue 500GB drive should work with most modern boards. Let me know if you want more details!

You already own the setup—just upgrade to a B250 Bazooka or similar with a heat sink. If not, consider a 3300x and a B450 Pro 4.

I'm working on a limited budget and swapping the CPU from my pre-built PC to my new setup. Are there any potential issues with this configuration?

the issue isn't technical, it's mainly about cost versus performance. you might consider selling the components separately to earn some income if you can't find a better option like a B250 Bazooka or parts with heat sinks on the VRMs and MOSFETs/ power stages.

Consider which sections to sell since the RX 580 is only a short-term GPU until you upgrade to something better.

You're likely to receive around $500 for each item if you can't secure a B250 board similar to the Bazooka, especially without a heat sink.

Just a minor observation. The i7-7700 might be a slight performance hurdle for 2060. Not too bad, though. I’d prefer a faster CPU with this chipset. They function well with a frame rate limiter, just cap FPS at a steady level to avoid fluctuations. In case you ever run into stuttering due to that limitation.

Check how these sizes interact—3300x and 2060 together form roughly 7700x. That’s the general idea.
