They're quite outdated and sluggish, honestly. From my experience, the 821 performs better than a 10. Check out the Archer series from TP-Link—they're at least up-to-date.

I suggest looking into TP-link options within that budget. The D-LINK N USB adapter DWA-127 is outdated, so consider newer models. There are also updated adapters like the TL-WN823N, Wirelles Nano USB DWA-131, and EW-7722UTN V2. If you're seeking a more modern solution, a PCI card might be a better choice.
