I recently assembled my first PC, intended for my son, with a total cost around $1,700 excluding accessories. I’m seeking a game that fits a short weekly schedule—about one day per week—and avoids the intense action of FPS or competitive multiplayer. While I liked Civilization 5 before, I want something that showcases graphics card performance with smooth visuals and realistic details. Realistic gameplay appeals to me, but I’m not keen on crafting-heavy experiences due to time constraints. Would you suggest a suitable title, perhaps a sports or simulation game like hunting or fishing?

Rocket League combines soccer with car gameplay across Europe and America. A truck simulator lets you operate vehicles. Farming sims focus on managing agricultural tasks. Football Manager offers deep strategy for multiplayer. Civilization demands extensive time per session unless you save progress.

I'm currently enjoying Dirt Rally and finding it really engaging. Steep feels interesting but has received varied feedback. Hunter – Call of the Wild is available on Steam now with favorable ratings. Just About Right 3 offers an excellent, immersive experience that's both entertaining and straightforward to play. Spending a lot of time crafting explosions and flying in a wingsuit can be quite calming.

The Witcher 3 (Just kidding) Maybe try hellblade senuas sacrifice, 8h +-of gameplay, amazing graphics, very straight foward game. I usually prefer long games, so I dont have much recomendations... But the south park games are nice, if you like south park. Also Life is Strange is AMAZING, and since it is episodic I think it would fit very well on your schedule. Both the original game and the prequel are worth it, but the original is better.

Dark souls can be tough to enjoy, and you might end up quitting. Or you could face death and have to stop anyway—kind of a nudge like “time for a real life!” Skyrim isn’t an FPS and works well in third person. You might want to give Aura 4X a try, which is... Well, here are some games that could suit you: Dawn of War, Dark Crusade, a real-time strategy with skirmishes lasting about 20-40 minutes if you’re slow, or 10-20 if you’re quick. Avoid Dawn of War 3! Graphics-heavy titles like Star Citizen... ryeze son of Rome (short version), Shadow of Mordor, and Shadow of War (note the removal of microtransactions). Frostpunk is a fresh, visually appealing game.

The solo part of GTAV is quite impressive—it has a great look, and you can dive in for some fun while ignoring the main plot.

I concur, Rocket League is an excellent game. It's also possible to play using a controller. Plus, you can trade on it too.

Sports and fighting games offer quick sessions of 10 to 20 minutes. Mutant football league stands out with a unique twist. Pro Evolution Soccer 17 and 18 are excellent choices, while FIFA 9-12, 13, 14, and 17 are solid options. Golf Club 2 Nhl 2009 is great if available. WWE games 16 are acceptable too.
