Consider your needs and preferences when choosing the right monitor. A 1400x900 at 75Hz offers smooth gameplay, while a 1920x1080 at 60Hz provides a wider screen but may feel less responsive. Decide based on comfort and performance requirements.

1080p resolution is likely achievable, possibly boosting performance to 75hz.

I don't believe I can push it further since the monitor was made in 2009

The question remains unclear. Could you provide more context?

Are you thinking about which monitor to purchase or which one you currently own? I suggest opting for a 1080p screen and check how much you can boost its performance. You might achieve around 70 or 75hz depending on the situation. I once had an old 1080p Dell monitor from 2007 that ran at 60Hz, but I managed to raise it to 85Hz.

I have one from the past. It’s simple to push it beyond its limits. Still, I don’t notice much change between 60 and 75 hertz. The quality improves over a 15 hertz gap.

I don’t have access to external links or specific software menus. You’ll need to check your computer’s settings or documentation for an overclocking tool. If you’re using a monitor, look for a dedicated overclocking application in its menu.

I notice that many displays I test reach their maximum at 75%. This might be due to standard settings or performance optimizations built into the hardware.

With Nvidia, finding information is straightforward. Search online.
