Hello! I'm just getting my first PC together for some nostalgia gaming. I need to know which operating system to install so I can run those old 90s and early 2000s games. My setup includes an AMD Sempron 3100+ at 2.6GHz, an Asus K8N4-E with Corsair XMS, a 512MB XFX 8800GT, and an 80GB SATA HDD. What system would work best for me?

Which Ubuntu release are you using? It seems version 15.10 might not be compatible with your system.

Ubuntu Mate is quite recent, with 15.04 and 15.10 being the main choices. Would you consider using Arch instead?
