Ghost recon was a decent experience, though it feels short on content compared to other guides I've seen. While the game isn't overly impressive, its mechanics are quite realistic given their development history. My three years as a fence give me a solid basis for my opinion.
If I were you, I'd choose For Honor. That reveals a lot about my interest in Wildlands and how much it appeals to me. While the game seems appealing on paper, I'm unsure about the real experience. There are connection problems, and I've heard it's tough to avoid being quickly eliminated by stronger players. Still, playing at all feels better than risking it all in Wildlands.
They said Honor was decent but quickly became dull. It seems similar to GTA 5 but with a military theme, probably?
Ghost Recon's experience would likely feel similar to Far Cry 4. Wildlands offers a single or multiplayer tactical squad shooter with open-world elements, though its pace is more deliberate. I'd recommend Wildlands if you prefer slower, more strategic gameplay.
I've tried both games; the experience is quite similar, though the controls are different and there are minor variations. Generally, if you played Far Cry 4 on the same map or if it supported multiplayer, the differences would be minimal. Oh, you can't harm animals in Ghost Recon...except for the cartel, haha!
