I've been using an old, slow machine for a long time and just got the chance to upgrade its processor and motherboard. I'm considering the 3700x and am unsure which board to choose. I was thinking about getting a CPU/Motherboard bundle from the nearest Microcenter, but I'm not sure if they'd be suitable. I'm open to picking a different board if those options aren't good enough. I'm not very familiar with motherboards these days. Thanks for your advice!

For the board or the entire project? Since it's about the full build, a 3700x could consume a large portion of your budget.

Currently, a 3700 model costs $269.99 at my nearby Microcenter. For the full upgrade, there are many great offers I've discovered recently in my area. @TofuHaroto
