If you're weighing the decision between keeping your 4080 super and purchasing a 5070ti at a lower price, you should consider your gaming preferences. You enjoy playing in 4K and also appreciate vg gaming. In VR, the quickest memories of the 5070s might be the deciding factor, or perhaps the Cuda Core offers more than the 4080s. Also, think about whether a 5070ti can be overclocked to surpass the 4080.

It depends on the cost and stock levels. If you can secure it for $750, go for it. If you can manage it for $950, consider it.

For me, absolutely not. Here's why: https://forums. The 4080 Super is faster in all of the games above at 4k. The only thing you get with a 5070ti over a 4080 Super is MFG. All the other uplifts for 50xx series, like DLSS are also updated on the 40xx series and the new transformer model.

GPUs are no longer worth upgrading with each new generation because the benefits no longer justify the expense and the gains in performance are minimal.

Keep the 4080 super since you're losing performance and money. It's better to wait until the 60s cards arrive. However, if you send the Amazon card back for a refund, you should receive 5080 instead of less.

5080 is the right upgrade route, not 5070TI. I moved from 4070TI to 5070TI and it's better, though it's not clear if it's worth the investment. I was expecting it to outperform the 4080 in all games, but that's uncertain.

What processor are you using? If your FPS didn't improve much, it suggests the CPU could be limiting the GPU's performance slightly.

I believe it's an older game with no more updates, and my CPU and GPU stay under 30%. In other games, FPS jumps nicely in line. Just felt disappointed with this one—it stutters a bit more than expected. All the game.
They Are Billions is a steampunk strategy title on a post-apocalyptic planet. You build and defend colonies to survive against the billions of infected trying to wipe out the few remaining humans. Will humanity make it through the zombie apocalypse?

But I don't grasp how the 5070ti, which delivers 43TFLOPS, can match the same FPS or even surpass the 4080s that handle 52 TFLOPS.
In this review, the 5070ti appears to perform significantly better.
https://wccftech.com/review/colorfu...b-...-at-749/5/
but other reviews often don't show such improvements.
I don't want to explain these differences.
