It’s hard to identify exactly what you’re experiencing. The maps seem like European knights clashing, and the game feels more open lately. The latest version of Deadliest Warrior has made the character feel a bit more accessible.

I know someone who spends more than 1000 hours on this game and plays it nearly every day, so it seems there are still players around. I have around 80 hours logged in myself, which is fine for occasional play, though I tend to lose interest over time.
