I have an i5-9600k and a Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC on the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X with 16GB RAM at 3000MHz, powered by the Be Quiet! System Power 9 600W. I’m wondering why the PC shuts down after a while when I increase the settings to 1440p. Maybe the power supply isn’t delivering enough power? Or perhaps something else is causing the issue. I’m not sure what’s going on and don’t know what to believe.

It might simply be a power supply issue. Even though your system appears to draw about 400W, switching to a 750W unit could help. Try replacing it and observe if the problem persists. If it keeps shutting down, further troubleshooting is necessary. Instability usually results in a BSOD, but sometimes it just stops working. The best approach would be to visit a store and replace the PSU.
