I think I’ll skip this title after seeing so many negative reviews—it looks like no one wants to try it. I’ll probably only pay around $17.
Personally I have never been interested in Assassin's Creed aside from it's well-realized environments and Black Flag's ships. There doesn't appear to me to be much in this series that other games aren't doing better. I'd much rather recommend Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor or the Batman Arkham series on gameplay merits. But if I were somehow really invested in the story, I'd wait for a way better sale. I'm not accustomed to paying $22 USD for much anymore, let alone mediocre, broken, regurgitated action titles. Besides, the longer you're able to wait for more patches, the better.
Nope, absolutely boycott Ubisoft as much as you can. They produce terrible PC games. I just watched a video about this recently, and they haven’t fixed the game since early December—it’s unacceptable. I can’t even play Splinter Cell because it keeps crashing. It reminds me of those days when we were told to keep pressing F5 nonstop. Don’t hand your money to Ubisoft, even if it was easy to get. Instead, support EA instead.
