Hello, I heard about a place offering AC:U for just $26. Is it worth the purchase? While I dislike poor performance, RadeonPro lets you cap the frame rate at 30FPS to prevent jitter. I’m not too bothered by that speed, having faced similar issues with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (which cost around $17). I really enjoy the Assassin’s Creed series and am curious about its future, but performance problems are a concern. If I decide to play this game, I’ll be prepared to tolerate it and still have fun.
Hardware details: CPU – FX-8350, GPU – R9 290 @1050MHz, RAM – 8GB.
Note: $26 AUD is roughly about $22 USD.
Yeah, it might cost around five dollars, but it’s clearly not a good game.
Black Flag had some value. Teamwork wasn't as strong. It took a step back in terms of enjoyment, though. Worth it if you're a fan of the series. You can usually find it for free.
I reviewed various opinions, but most were either overly critical or overly positive since they received compensation. Additionally, the DLC is available for free now.
I purchased the game for $30 for my younger sibling. Following the update, he expressed his enthusiasm and I’d recommend it, particularly given its affordable price. There’s plenty of enjoyment to be had.
For me, AC has fallen into a slump they haven't recovered from since AC3. It's still a solid game, not bad at all—just not optimized well even after all the updates, and its scope falls short of expectations. That's my take; if others have positive feedback, it could be worth giving it a try (particularly if you enjoyed AC3 or 4)!
Oh, alright. As a middle child I'm used to 'little brother' meaning 12.
