In several reviews of the B450 Tomahawk Max I noticed complaints about extremely long POST times at launch. I'm interested in whether the latest Agesa Updates addressed this issue or if it's still an ongoing problem. I'd appreciate hearing from other users about the actual POST duration when using the most recent update and starting from scratch. I intend to purchase this model with a 3700X and would love your insights.

It's not just an issue from Africa; M.UI motherboards need CSM disabled in BIOS to speed up startup. However, boot performance on Ryzen models remains slower than Intel, taking around a minute for an SSD (ASUS X470I) and about 7 seconds for an i5 6600K.

Newer Intel models, based on my observations. The X99 requires an extra couple of seconds to start up compared to my Ryzen setup.

Yes, but even with an i5 3400, it takes just five seconds to start, which is really fast for a cold boot.

My MSI Ace boots in about 32 seconds from cold to Windows log in with a 3600 and an ADATA NVMe drive. Not quick like 5 seconds, but definitely okay for me. It’s not something I’d trade for anything else. Not a moment is too long when it matters. How do people usually report boot times on the Tomahawk Max? I’m still choosing what to build my work PC with and was thinking about that board.
