Checking Ryzen 7 3700x temperature
I have a Ryzen 7 3700x that goes with an x570 mobo, an aorus elite, and a kraken x62. I run it at 4.2 GHz on 1.332v voltage. My idle temperature is between 45 and 60 degrees when nothing is doing anything, but my temp jumps to 77 when the computer is working hard for 100%. What could be causing this?
It just works. The 7nm chips handle their own heat better than older ones, so you don't really need to mess with the boost settings or push for more power. Just uncheck the overclock and let the chip run at what it's meant to do. It will stay cool on its own without any issues.
The pump is spinning at maximum power, and its fan is rotating at a speed of 1500 rpm.
It's normal. This happens because the Ryzen 3000 series pushes harder when hot, and the newer 7nm chips get too warm easily. Turn off any special settings or over-boost, then let it cool naturally. It handles everything on its own without a problem.
