Checking Ram timings and equal load?
Checking Ram timings and equal load?
You have a 24GB 2666MHz KLSRE RAM and are considering increasing the clock speed to 3000MHz, but you're unsure if it's possible without adjusting timings. You're also asking about optimizing memory usage across three sticks for balanced performance.
Try exchanging two of the sticks and removing a different one.
You're still using single-channel mode with three sticks.
Allow it to rest for about five minutes. It may take some time for the memory training to activate and work its effect.
Can someone assist you in determining the RAM timing while aiming to raise the frequency from 2666MHz to 3000MHz? I've included the RAM specifications.
3 sticks of RAM? That won't work well for you at all. They're all using single channel mode, which will hurt your performance compared to two sticks at 2666mhz. Remove one stick, keep the other two, boost the clock speed to 3000mhz by adjusting the clock multiplier, raise the voltage if needed, and adjust the timings accordingly.
Attempted to remove the RAM stick but the computer won't start until it's reinserted. Display is blank, yet fans and motherboard lights are functioning properly. The dram calculator isn't working for me because it fails to load data and sometimes shows timings or the RAM name.
