Hello, Your system runs a Ryzen 5600X with an Asus TUF B550M+ Wi-Fi chipset. You currently have 16GB of Crucial Ballistix RAM (2x8GB) at 3600MHz CL16. They perform well on the QVL for that speed since their chanses are solid. Although they’re only certified for the Ryzen 3000 series, the 5000 series offers more flexibility with RAM. If it doesn’t support XMP out of the box, you can adjust the timings slightly or raise the voltage a bit.

The delay on the latest unit was greater. This suggests the RAM wasn't in the QVL and isn't compatible with your setup. It's possible the RAM itself was defective, though that seems unlikely.

I realized you were referring to the Trident Z CL16 kit, which is available on the QVL.

Make sure the kit you have is listed in the QVL. If it doesn’t match, consider returning and trying the 3200MHz option.

Currently waiting for refund process. When i buy them i'll look into it, these QVL lists are a mess and some of the sticks are nowhere to be found... I have another question, I am currently building a side PC to do renders and work, nothing too crazy but while i was checking QVL list i am kinda confused. Cpu:Ryzen 9 5900x Motherboard:Asus ProArt-Creator B550 I am planning to buy same Trident Z Neo rams in this build but as 64Gb(4x16) since I cant find 4x16, can i buy 2x(2x16) sets and make it work on 3600mhz since QVL list says 1,2,4 socket support. Still same issue btw it shows on 3000 series QVL but not on 5000 series... On the top the pairs i want to buy but i can't find them, on the bottom 4 socket support for 2x16s so can i make it work? Yes, proceed confidently. Four sticks generally become more challenging to manage at faster speeds or with higher CPU overclocking since they put extra strain on the memory controller. I’d suggest using 2x32 instead. Personally, I run 4x8 GB sticks—G-Skill FlairX overclocked from 3200 CL14 to 3600 CL16 on a Ryzen 5800X—and it performs reliably. Running two separate kits doesn’t ensure perfect compatibility, even if the packaging claims otherwise. Differences in production runs or component changes (like chips or controllers) can cause mismatches. This shouldn’t be intentional, but it may lead to stability problems or incompatibility. Most cases are fine, though, and it’s usually not a big concern unless you’re using custom chips from brands like Crucial or SK Hynix.
