Hi everyone, I’ve just placed an order for my first PC components yesterday. Now I’m checking if the RAM I chose will work with my motherboard. PCPartPicker said there’s no issue, but the support page for my board claims the RAM isn’t compatible. I’m planning to use an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 on an MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi board. Thanks!

You should consider purchasing at least a decent amount of RAM. Ideally, include a link to your PCPP list. From what you mentioned, a DDR5-6000CL30 with EXPO would be a solid choice.

Would help if you listed the memory kit's model number. Either way, the motherboard QVL is not an exhaustive list of every kit that would work, so odds are it would be fine as long as the speed bin is sensible.

It's private. For upcoming needs, remember to check the link in the list. Although the setup works, 2x8GB units aren't ideal for DDR5 speed. A solid 32GB (two 16GB) DDR5-6000 system would cost only a bit more and offer better performance plus double the storage.

Make the list visible to everyone. Corsair sometimes clashes with Ryzen, so consider kits featuring Expo – this AMD feature ensures better compatibility. For more options, check: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb/p/N8...leshopping... Other suggestions include 32GB models if your budget allows. With newer releases, 16GB is now standard and you may soon face performance limits.

Thanks for the information, I think I'm gonna see if Memory Express customer support is operating today to see if I can get a refund for that RAM BTW here's the public list of my build https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/TZrwDZ

I was just checking that kit. I need to reach out to Memory Express to find out if I can swap the one I chose before it ships. Thanks for helping with my questions, everyone!
