I don't have much experience with CPUs, but with your GTX 1080 Ti and Ryzen 7 5700X running Valorant at those temps and usage levels, it seems typical. Let me know if you need more details!

It appears the frequency isn't quite enough for the amount of use.

It's not as extreme as it seems. Those temperatures aren't that high. The CPU fan helps manage the heat, so at 25-40% load with a 60°C reading, the fan might not increase too much to maintain acceptable noise levels. It could be even higher at 48-50°C with full speed, but that would be very loud and disruptive. Your CPU can safely operate around 85°C continuously without any problems.

Thanks a lot! That's comforting. Would it help to include additional fans inside your PC case and reduce the temperatures?

Certainly. The effectiveness depends on the number of fans and airflow you currently have, as there’s a limit to improvement. Which CPU cooler are you using?

You own the Gamerstorm Captain 360EX. Yes, you can swap the original fans for argb-style ones on the cooler.

You're welcome to modify the fans freely. Keep in mind there are various fan styles—some suit static pressure (through radiators or heatsinks) while others excel in open airflow like standard case fans. How many case fans do you own and where are they positioned? Where is the radiator from the 360EX placed, front or top?

Consider swapping the standard fans for argb models and positioning a regular fan on the left side.
