For real? The Corsair PSUs were really solid and dependable. I’m aware there could be a few exceptions, but I didn’t think a whole bunch would cause issues...

It's a green device. The label matches its color, and the PSU remains covered by warranty.
Brand value is meaningless. Every brand hides hidden risks and dangerous power supplies. The entire eco-friendly labeling scheme is questionable. Even basic, low-cost PSUs work well in office setups most of the time, but the premium green label line often malfunctions unexpectedly, even in systems with minimal usage.
You meant every color other than green is undesirable, so the green ones are actually beneficial.
