Hey everyone, I'm planning to upgrade my 5900x to a 13900K and am considering the ROG Maximus Hero Z690 with DDR5. I also see the Maximus Hero Z790 available, but I'm not sure which one suits me best. Since I often overclock and use a 360mm AIO, any advice would be super helpful!

It appears the main distinction lies in simplicity: the Z790 doesn’t need a BIOS upgrade for 13th-gen processors, whereas the Z690 probably does (based on its release timeline).
