Ok so i have this internet from the same provider for almost a year now, 500 mb/s, which means that i should be downloading games anywhere from 40 to 65 mb/s. Give or take considering i have 3 other phones and 3 other smart TV's connected. If none are running i should be able to download at at least 55 mb/s, and if one tv and 3 phones anywhere from 22 mb/s to 35. But here's the thing: Steam, even when being the single thing in the house drawing internet It BARELY reaches 50 mb/s and it only goes that fast so long, and the next thing i know i am downloading at 20 mb/s. And if any other devices are being used i can't even hit 30 mb/s with an average of 13 at best. These speeds are nothing to be sad about because they are after all quite fast, but i am annoyed that it doesn't run at full speed. When i check the task manager it usually says that the network being used is 200 mb/s, being 40% of available, and even when i set it to high priority it barely increases by 2 mb/s download speed, and it also crashes often to less than 10mb/s or just stopping completely showing 0 bytes/s.I mean what i said here only applies to Steam because on Origin my network never goes below 40mb/s with an average of 50mb/s and on epic games it stays on a constant 40mb/s, so it might be on Steam that it's downloading so poorly but anyways, any tips on how i can make it run smoothly even on steam?(The problem i mentioned with steam also happens on Chrome, sometimes downloading at 1mb/s, and not even rebooting my router or pc helping it). Otherwise ping is ok never above 60 ms with a solid 45-55 average)

It might be that your internet service provider is limiting your speed.

It seems the speed varies depending on the platform—higher on Origin and Epic, lower on Steam. They might not offer the fastest downloads in my area. I reached out for opinions to get a better perspective, thank you for your help even if it wasn’t the answer.
