Yeah, even going from 3000 to 3200 should give a bigger boost in frames per second or only small drops. I did some testing moving from 2133 to 3200 on a Ryzen 2600 and the difference could be up to 25 frames per second. Even when dips were present, they weren't bad at all; 2133 had frequent drops that were about 15 to 20 frames per second, but those happened often. When it went up to 3200, there were very few dips and the highest ones were just around 7 frames per second, rarely occurring.
