I bought two 3000mhz GEIL chips. I want to boost them to 3200mhz because that's the fastest clock for a Ryzen 2 CPU. Should I just leave them at 3200mhz, or do I need to turn them off when they aren't being used?

It looks okay. Were you turning the voltage up yourself, or did the computer do it automatically? If everything stays steady and there are no blue screen errors, then chances are good that both your RAM sticks are running at their fast settings right now.

Boost the processor speed to 3200, then run it with memtest. If everything stays steady without failing or showing BSOD, keep that speed because changing it doesn't make sense. Also, did you get these parts together as one kit, or just from separate boxes?

Got those things in the exact same way they came, but they were two separate boxes instead of one neat pack.

Even if it works, you need to buy the sticks from that specific kit because they were tested working together at full speed. It's pretty uncommon for those sticks to just slow down and only go up to 3000 instead of running faster.

I am trying out a new version of Apex right now and it looks good, there are no crash errors.

Do you have XMP turned on in your BIOS? Have you tried to go overclock it already?

I switched my computer's power draw from 3000 watts to 3200 watts inside the BIOS. Are there other settings that might need changing right now?

It looks good. Did you turn the voltage up yourself, or is it set to automatic? If it stays steady and there are no blue screen errors, then you probably did a great job overclocking your RAM.

It's on Auto. By the way, I can see a better frame rate right now.
