Hi, I own a first gen Ryzen 1400 and AMD says it can handle RAM up to 2667 pins. My RAM sticks are rated for 3000 pins, which is higher than what my CPU likes. My motherboard has two XMP options: one at 2667 speed with 1.35 volts, and another at 2933 speed also with 1.35 volts. If I stick to the 2933 setting for both of these sticks while my processor only supports up to 2667 pins, will it hurt or be unsafe? What could go wrong if I do that? Thanks a lot in advance.

It could be stable, or it might fail, but if it functions well, that's okay.

It could be steady or not, but if it actually functions, that's all good.

Ryzen can handle more than 2667MHz RAM, but going higher is called overclocking because the Internal Memory Controller might get overworked. The exact limit depends on your motherboard model and BIOS settings.
