In short, consider your move carefully. Windows 10 offers stability and broad software support, but some users find it less intuitive than newer versions. Many people purchase license keys from trusted sources like eBay or Kinguin, though prices can vary. The original Win10 Pro keys you mentioned are genuine, with sales ranging from hundreds to thousands of pounds. Average pricing depends on region and demand. Let me know if you need more details!

There are no legitimate options to obtain Windows 10 for free. Any alternative violates the Microsoft End User License agreement, making it piracy and illegal. This topic cannot be discussed here.

If you don't turn it on, you won't be able to use it.

Yes, Windows 10 can be tested in trial mode, provided the key is linked to your MS account, or if you previously upgraded from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 on the same device, or if you purchased the offer at the time of the promotion on that system.

It's tough to revert to older Windows versions, particularly Windows 7. Many workstations remain on that OS despite minimal changes, and the distinctions are still noticeable. During the promotional period, I upgraded all my machines to Windows 10.
