I’ve been testing Red Dead Redemption 2 and checking my benchmarks against other creators with similar configurations. My system reports around 13,000MB-14,000MB utilization during gameplay. These creators seem to be using 11,500Mb-12,500Mb while playing the same title. My RAM usage isn’t excessive compared to their numbers. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32GB RAM, a 6000Mhz CL30, RTX 5070Ti. It looks normal for my specs.

I've observed that games consume as much VRAM as possible, often showing 16GB+ usage on my 7900xtx despite claims of lower requirements
I recall getting a prebuilt system around 5 to 6 years ago when 16GB RAM was the norm. Now 32GB is considered the bare minimum, haha
Having more RAM leads to greater system activity. My setup with 64GB feels quite heavy compared to someone with 32GB of memory. Even Firefox can consume around 12GB at times if permitted. The real issue comes when you run out of available RAM, then the system begins relying on its pagefile. Edit: Currently Firefox is using about 9.5 gigabytes of RAM.
It seems reasonable. With 14GB RAM and a 32GB device, you should have enough for smooth gameplay.
