Checking if the game continues to miss files

I saw the issue when checking Cyberpunk and Code Warzone 3. Both games show about 50MB missing, and after downloading them again it still appears the same. Why is this happening? Is Windows removing the files? Keep in mind: Cyberpunk is available on GOG, while Code Warzone 3 is on STEAM.

Consider just saving back your files, removing all connected items, and attempting the setup again.

Files might still appear missing, so inspecting the drive could help. There could be a problem preventing proper writing of files.

The fact that these issues occur with two distinct games on separate launchers raises my concern about a larger problem. I’d follow @Eigenvektor’s guidance and run CrystalDiskInfo to verify the drive’s condition, just to rule out any underlying issues.

you also have additional games stored on your ssd (980 PRO) and they are working properly

It could be a problem with the game files themselves. It's strange that this occurs when using two different games on separate launchers at once, but such coincidences do happen. Have you attempted to delete the game files and reinstall them from the beginning?

These files were saved from the beginning on my latest computer. Others have reported similar problems, and turning off XMP might resolve the issue. I could give it a try.
