Only when Windows is indexing does it matter. It doesn’t constantly index files, so disabling it usually has little effect.

According to what I understand, indexing mainly works when the computer is not busy enough. Disabling it probably won’t make much difference.

There are around 20 to 30 adjustments you can make in Windows. Each change by itself has little impact, but together they create a noticeable improvement.

Usually not with an SSD. If you use a HDD, there could be a minor distinction.

Consider that when Index is turned off, all your queries—like those in the Start menu—will run significantly slower and won't function properly.
