Never really. The FPS category collapsed after BF3 and MW2 came out.

There might be an option to skip the money part. I've tried all of COD so far, so I think I'll get it eventually, though I'm not completely sure. It seems unlikely to get it right away, maybe around £60 at launch.

I understand the annual free access from the magazine you use, which is why I’m considering First CoD after Black Ops 2—hope it delivers a solid PC experience.

The early updates suggest a robust launch offering plenty of tweak options and a zombie trailer available. It seems like an exciting experience, which matches what gaming is meant to be. However, I tend to favor the style from Battlefield 4.
