This configuration is typical for someone around 8 years old using a modern i5 processor and a decent gaming laptop. The setup you described isn’t overly demanding, especially since CS:GO runs smoothly at lower settings. The GPU is new but still capable of handling the game well, and the performance you’re seeing is quite normal for your age and hardware.

The GPU isn't crucial since your graphics are set to low, and CS:GO relies mainly on CPU performance. Given that your CPU is from a few generations ago, the frames per second should remain stable. Verify there aren't any CPU-intensive processes running in the background to maximize your i5's potential. Consider turning on Multi-Core Rendering in your CS.GO settings; it could improve frame rates if you haven't enabled it yet.

No, the game does not have Multicore Rendering activated in its configuration.

I anticipate higher performance in the 200 range. My previous FX 8350 managed to reach this level and it's likely comparable to your i5. Although map updates were applied to enhance their appearance, they sometimes caused a drop in frame rate, which might explain why the actual numbers aren't quite as expected. Still feels a bit short.
