My mother board is Asrock A320M/ac, In the bios I have Ram over clocking but not CPU overclocking. Ive look at some videos and everyone with the same looking bios, have a section above Ram for CPU. In my bios there straight up not there. Overall computer specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 (Overclock with Afterburner) SSD: PNY CS900 500GB SSD (OS) HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (Game Library) RAM: Unknown 8GBF1X08QFHH38-135-K 2x8GB - 108.3% (Dual Channel at 3200) MBD: Asrock A320M/ac (Bios oversion P1.90)

I haven’t performed a BIOS update before, but it’s important. Should you use a random USB drive and follow the BIOS Instant Flash instructions?

You're likely right—most A320 variants don't support overclocking. Let me know if you'd like clarification!

the latest bio won't introduce new capabilities to chipsets lacking those features... not even for a series board I'm familiar with. overclocking the cpu remains a separate consideration—it's part of what makes the a320 special.
