Checking for a PC boot loop or similar issue.
He bought an i7 3770k and installed it on his PC, but now it won't start properly. It keeps looping into a bootloop with the red light. He's tried various RAM sticks and different motherboards, but nothing works. I'm stuck and need advice from someone here. Specs: motherboard ASUS P8P67, CPU i7 3770K, PSU Corsair 600W, GPU GTX 1060, RAM HyperX 2x8GB.
The processor is quite outdated, it could be the reason it won't function. Has he tried using his previous hardware that was operational?
If it functioned before the change but not now, I’d begin by checking the CPU socket pins to confirm they weren’t harmed during the swap.
he attempted a different motherboard but it didn't function properly
It functioned properly and the new motherboard is p8z68-v from Asus.
