I'm dealing with choosing the appropriate RAM for my setup. I have an Intel G4400 to assemble a simple gaming PC, paired with an MSI B150A gaming pro board. My CPU needs DDR4 2133 ECC memory, but I'm wondering if I can use non-ECC RAM as well.

The Pentium model lacks ECC support, although... note, it was introduced afterward—non-ECC is preferred since it's costly and unnecessary.

ECC introduces extra delay and increases temperature, so a cooling fan for RAM is likely necessary.

You don't require ECC. For purchases under $150 whether new or used, I can exchange them for another item.
