Consider upgrading with an extra 8GB RAM for your 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400MHz system. You're weighing a 8GB DDR4 3000MHz model and wondering if it supports dual-channel operation. While both options will run at 2400MHz, some forums suggest that RAM not purchased in a dual-pack configuration might lead to instability. Your Gigabyte H110 motherboard should work with either choice, but ensure compatibility and stability for optimal performance.

It depends on your motherboard's capabilities. If it supports both voltages, you can switch between them. Otherwise, you may need to adjust the voltage settings or risk compatibility issues.

It seems 1.5 is needed for 3000 output, but 2400 should work with 1.2.

No, you still need to complete the necessary steps in the BIOS settings. The motherboard will adjust automatically afterward.
