You won’t exceed 2 M.2 connectors on a typical mATX board and more than 2 PCIe x4 or higher slots due to size constraints... except for certain high-end builds like Threadripper boards. Most standard desktops don’t place PCIe x4 slots directly beneath the first PCIe x16 port since many graphics cards already occupy that space. Thus, it makes little sense for manufacturers to include more than two PCIe x4 (or better) slots. I already purchased the case and could reuse it for another project. However, I’m not keen on a full ATX build if it’s unnecessary. I initially wanted to go MiniITX, but the available options seem too limited. That’s why I considered the threadripper, though there’s only one choice for MATX.
