Checking availability for Ryzen 5 7600 + B650M gaming bundle with Wi-Fi and 2x8GB RAM.
Hello,
I'm planning to upgrade my PC and would appreciate some guidance on the RAM setup. My current configuration includes:
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 (non-X)
Motherboard: MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI
GPU: RTX 3060 Ti
PSU: XPG Core Reactor 750W
RAM (Planned): 2x8GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (intending to add another 2x8GB later for a total of 32GB)
I understand that 2x16GB is the suggested setup for Ryzen 7000 models, but I’m limited to finding 2x8GB kits nearby. My intention is to purchase 2x8GB now and switch to 32GB later with another identical kit.
My main gaming style involves singleplayer and multiplayer co-op games at 1080p ultrawide, aiming for a stable 60 FPS. I’m curious whether running 4x8GB would lead to stability problems or if it would require lower speeds. If I decide to upgrade to 4x8GB later, what speed reductions should I anticipate?
I also noticed conflicting advice online—some say 4x8GB isn’t ideal, while others claim it runs smoothly. Thank you for your help!
When using four sticks, performance will be restricted to ram speed of 6000mhz. With four compatible sticks, maximum performance is around 5200mhz. If you have four matching kits, the best you can achieve is 5200mhz or less. In the worst case, purchasing two unmatched kits won't work as a group. Avoid using four sticks at once—it's not advised.

I would receive a 2x16GB DDR5-6000MHz with minimal delays and consider it complete.
I can only locate 2x8GB kits in my vicinity.
Where are you located, what budget have you allocated for your RAM purchase, and which store do you prefer to buy from?
Would installing 4x8GB cause any stability problems or necessitate lower speeds?
That's a subjective point, what RAM model are you considering? Corsair's products stand out because they include a PCB revision number, as they obtain ICs from various suppliers. If you purchase two different PCB revision Corsair kits that appear identical (except for the board version), you risk system instability.
Additionally, adding four RAM sticks will always put pressure on the memory controller, with potential silicon variations that could harm the processor and lead to instability.
India and Amazon because they provide tomorrow's delivery (budget Rs10000-11000)
ADATA XPG Lancer RGB 16GB(2 * 8GB) DDR5 6000 Mhz Cl 30
this ram kit
or this
G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB (2 * 16GB) DDR5 6000 MHz CL36-36-36-96
I looked at the RAM support list on
MSI’s website
for my motherboard. This RAM is compatible with AM5 even though it's for Intel

Ordered these despite being XMP and CL36. Msi confirms support. Expected to function at 6000mhz and perform better than XPG in terms of stability and reliability.
