Just bought a used x570... What do I need to test the motherboard and make sure everything is functional? I have a PSU and am waiting on my CPU to ship. Haven't gotten around to ordering RAM or an SSD yet. Much thanks

The core components, including the CPU and RAM, would be adequate. For more thorough evaluation, a system with an operating system would be beneficial.

You're starting fresh, which is great! Don't worry if it feels a bit overwhelming—take it step by step. Begin by understanding the requirements, then set up your environment, and gradually experiment with testing. If you hit any snags, feel free to ask for guidance.

No method ensures complete accuracy for a board until the entire setup is ready. Wait until the full system is available.

What processor are you considering? If it lacks a built-in GPU, you’ll also need one. Don’t forget a power supply unit to keep it running. To activate the device, connect the power button pins. That’s the summary.

I'm ready for the CPU that includes built-in graphics, and I've got the power supply already. I'll place the remaining orders and monitor the progress. Appreciate the help!
