He suspects power problems with his GPU besides the unknown issue. His PSU is underpowered for the system, which triggered O.C protection during certain games. He plans to replace it soon. His specs include a Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3070 8GB, MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB RAM (2x16GB), and PC4-25600 DDR4.

Remind the friend to share this here. Using old info for diagnosis isn't effective. It seems like a crash was involved, but the Corsair Vengeance rams could be a factor too.

He doesn't handle the technical details of PCs that I'm translating for him to grasp. It's odd because both we use the same RAM module, and this model is listed as compatible with AMD for more than three months without any problems.

Corsair Rams are known for not being plug-and-play, especially on AM4 boards, leading to problems such as crashes. This can also stem from GPU drivers, RAM issues, or even CPU and power supply faults. Keep in mind that second-hand info isn't reliable.
